As a dancer, I see myself as a creator of timely bound forms of corporality. However, just as words are symbolical structures, describing the meaning of things, the dancing human body is only able to depict the time-bound bodily forms. The forms can’t be separated from the human body and its impact on the viewer. The specific informations about gender, posture, gesture, appearance etc. are received and processed consciously or subconsciously. Eventually they are valued or categorised. Consequently, the mere capturing of a dynamic form, is difficult or impossible to grasp. I am interested in finding ways to let the pure formal language of my dance speak for itself. The work translates complex movements into simple animated drawings, while revealing traces of an invisible corporality. The work could be understood as a progression of the work Muscle Memory.
