“There is a creative fraction of a second when you are taking a picture.
Your eye must see a composition or an expression that life itself offers you,
and you must know with intuition when to click the camera.
That is the moment the photographer is creative.
The Moment! Once you miss it, it is gone forever.”
Henri Cartier-Bresson

éMotion is a cross-media art project that is combining dance and photography in a photographic and performative scenery, focused on the subject of dance. In a dancing phrase many things can be represented. A turn, a rise, a yell, a glance, arm movements that happen at a fast pace and often remain unperceived by the public. These incomprehensible sentences, may leave us with a beautiful sensation, an emotion, a perception. The camera may be a utensil which is enabling us to accompany the journey, encapsulating it and sharing it with the whole world around us. I feel them, I expect them and just after having pushed the button on my camera I realise, all of which I have not be able to see in these moments.
