I am pleased to announce that Performing Tales of the Unseen will be presented as part of After Hours – Haus am Rhein, organised by the curatorial collective CienCien.

The short performance unfolds as a dialogue between movement and drawing. Bodies become image, gestures become line, and drawing emerges as a direct trace of physical action. Rooted in a shared movement language developed through years of practice, the piece explores how choreography and image-making can continuously shape one another.

For this presentation, the work enters a new phase: for the first time, we will draw directly onto the wall instead of paper. This shift allows the architecture itself to become part of the performance. Existing spatial elements, surfaces, edges and proportions will be integrated into both the choreography and the visual composition, creating a site-responsive version of the piece.

Rather than treating the wall as a neutral background, it becomes an active partner — a surface that receives movement, frames bodies and transforms the drawing process in real time.

Performing Tales of the Unseen is performed in collaboration with Andrea Biel and Anastasia Chaguidouline and continues the ongoing research of Tales of the Unseen, a body of work investigating the fragmentary nature of bodies in motion through drawing, dance and perception.

I would be glad to see you there.
