A performance developed for the opening of the exhibition “Vitalidad” by Rita Ponce de Léon and “Los brotes” Esteban Igartua in the Posta Veglia of Ardez. Organized and hosted by Proyecto Amil. The performance consists of three parts enhanced by the exhibited drawings, which form the basis for one of the three performances.
Performed at the opening as part of the exhibition by Proyecto Amil„Rita Ponce de Léon and Esteban Iguarta“

Performance 1 | Onion Loops
In the first part of the performance I show a concept for a structured dance improvisation I call „onion loops“. The starting point is a pose from which a movement leads to the second pose. From the second pose, the same movement is performed backwards until the performer is back in the starting pose.
A new pose is spontaneously added ever run, adding to the chain of movements. The movement sequences are repeated back and forth until A.) the performer loses the thread B.) has no more stamina or C.) the music comes to an end.
Performance 2 | Bottleneck
A4 drawings with black fineliner on paper form the basis for the second part of the performance. I assigned movement sequences of my dance repertoire, which I usually use for breaking battles, to the individual drawings. The expression, structure and concept of the drawing are the criteria according to which the movement sequences were selected.
