Description
Footwork Hands are based on a 3D scan of a hand position characteristic of Breaking. In footwork technique, the metacarpal bones are straightened and activated as supporting structures, reducing pressure on the wrist while slightly elevating the upper body.
As jewelry, this functional dance gesture becomes a condensed sign. The hand operates both as structural support in movement and as a universal symbol of creative agency—linking dance practice and sculptural form.
The pieces are cast in RJC-certified 925/000 silver and finished by hand.
